Rather than rest on their laurels and create more material in the same vein, "In A Roman Mood" takes a considerably more serious tone and is all the better for it. The band crafted an album that may have been too great a leap forward for the average fun-loving new wave fan in Today, those who've heard the album rate it as an underappreciated masterpiece.
