Miranda was there in a trice. Jealous of the three-tiered afternoon tea on the table next door, she glanced over just as a dishy man suddenly got down on one knee and declared undying love to none other than her old friend Eggy Benedict. Miranda hadn't seen her in years!

Afternoon Tea at Orsett Hall feels like a luxury affair, gorgeous surroundings and attentive staff. Sandwiches are filled with the traditional afternoon tea fillings and comes with a warm mini quiche. The sweets and scones are always very good at Orsett Hall. On this occasion I had enjoyed the most delicious white chocolate and ginger cheesecake. It blew my mind, it was absolutely amazing!

The afternoon tea is served in the Gallery Restaurant. I can personally recommend their fantastic sunday roasts! A lovely relaxed environment and the staff are always so helpful. The sandwiches are always freshly made and well filled. The thick cut ham was amazing!
The sweets are always good, normally a yummy cheesecake with a selection of cakes, you also get a plain and a fruit scone. I had such a wonderful time visiting each of these venues and would happily recommend each and every one. You will be given a selection of freshly prepared finger sandwiches which may include varieties such as smoked salmon with lemon mayo, egg mayonnaise with watercress, ham with Dijon mayonnaise, brie with red onion chutney, served on both brown and soft white bread. You can also choose from a selection of fine teas. Even with an extra person we couldn't eat all the food. The tea was replenished as many times as we wanted.
The surroundings were beautiful and the service excellent. It was definitely the best afternoon tea that I have experienced and one that I will be repeating. Location: Set in a boutique-style furniture and home accessories shop, the Parlour Tea Room allows you to have a welcome break while you search for beautiful bargains.
